CAPTCHAs won't be fool-proof because there appears to be form spam
that's manually submitted.

URL blacklists seem to be one of the more promising solutions.

And it won't even break accessibility, unlike CAPTCHAs. I don't know if
folks are doing much dada development these days, but various people
(myself included) are trying to move forward the effort for the next
generation IMC software, and hopefully it can include features like this.
