Hi from Indymedia Alacant,

we've updated dada from .98.x to .99.3 and, after some time reconfiguring,
reading logs, fixing things, and so on it's working. however, there are still
some problems we have found no solution for. that's why we've decided to
write to the list (this is a shout asking for help! ;) )

our environment:

AMD Sempron(tm) 2600+
Linux 2.6.18-1-k7 #1 SMP
Debian testing/unstable
Apache 2.2.3-2
mysql 5.0.24a
dada-imc .99.3

our problems:

1. the list of indymedia mediacenters does not appear. we've confiured it from
the admin panel to appear at the left part, at the bottom... but without
luck.

the dada log outputs an error that looks like this:

then, i've looked the contents of folder mediacenters/ at our running server
and in the tarball for .99.3 and they look the same.

2. some images do not appear. if i go to the media area some images do not
appear. i've tested with some of them and the problem seems to be that they
do not exist in the local folder but they do exist in the distribution server
that we have configured (images.indymedia.org). maybe is because they are in
the distribution server in the folder image/ (where dada .98.x put them) and
not in usermedia/image (is it here where dada .99.3 expects to find them??).

so, i've created at images.indymedia.org the folder usermedia/image and copied
there the files but they still do not appear.

finally, i've copied the files at images.indymedia.org to the local server but
not even doing so they want to appear.
